Phillips Contemporaries Bondi Beach Bash
The Phillips Collection and the Embassy of Australia partnered to create the Contemporaries Bondi Beach Bash to raise critical resources for the museum’s award-winning education programs. The Bash was a sell-out event that attracted over 800 people and raised over $50,000.
Project
Role
I was responsible for branding, design, and marketing the entire event. I created a cohesive suite of materials inspired by the world renowned surf culture of Bondi Beach and the Icebergs pool. With a budget of $0, I sourced video and photos and used colorful filters to unify the footage and images. I created signage, flyers, digital and print banners, assets for social media, and a promotional video. I contacted musician Broke For Free and secured the rights to use his most popular song, an instrumental track with a driving beat that played in the video and at events promoting the party.
